Dr. Mark Oberlander, MD is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has close to 25 years of experience.
Dr. Oberlander specializes in comprehensive eye care, including cataract and glaucoma laser surgeries. He helps patients become less dependent on glasses by specializing in custom lenses such as the Panoptix/Vivity multifocal intraocular lens implant, which allows the patient to see better without glasses for both near and far vision after cataract surgery.
Dr. Oberlander completed his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas in Galveston.
Dr. Oberlander has performed more than 20,000 surgeries and provides the best eye care possible, whether with surgery or medical treatment. “I want patients to feel comfortable with me and look forward to listening to what they have to say and answering their questions. I care about each of my patients and I feel lucky to help people see better.”
He enjoys spending time with his wife and two teenage children. He tries to stay physically active by walking, tennis, swimming and lifting weights. “I have a passion for organic gardening and love growing different types of fruit trees and vegetables and taking care of our chickens”.
