Fikret Kajoshaj, OD specializes in comprehensive medical eye exams and helps patients with corneal disease and injury by using Prokera, an amniotic membrane medical contact lens. He also conducts diabetic eye exams, and treats most conditions, including glaucoma, dry eyes, allergies, pink eye, styes, foreign body removal and more.
Dr. Kajoshaj looks forward to getting to know his patients. “I enjoy meeting people of all cultures and learning interesting and unique things about each individual patient, whether it be a unique personal experience or personal story, talent or skill that they have.”
Dr. Kajoshaj is from New York, where he has practiced medical optometry for the past seven years within several different ophthalmology clinics. He completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He furthered his training by completing his Ocular Disease residency at VA Hudson Valley Health Care System in Montrose, NY.
During his free time, Dr. Kajoshaj enjoys spending time with his two baby boys and feels blessed to have them. He also enjoys watching his favorite sports teams: The NY Jets and NY Knicks, as well as Mixed Martial Arts.
