Dr. Mikaila Gallagher is an optometrist with a passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered eye care. Dr. Gallagher completed her clinical training at the VA hospital in Wilmington, DE, Draisin Vision in Charleston, SC, and The Eye Care Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. After graduating optometry school at Nova Southeastern University, she completed her residency training in primary eye care, ocular disease, cornea and contact lens management, and co-management of cataract and refractive surgery.
During her residency training in Tampa, FL, Dr. Gallagher gained advanced knowledge in cataract and refractive surgery. Dr. Gallagher also specializes in treating dry eye disease and managing keratoconus, utilizing life-changing scleral lenses.
Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Gallagher enjoys spending time at the beach, with her dog, and visiting family in her hometown.
