Dr. Kohlhepp earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany. She went on to receive her medical degree at the Stony Brook School of Medicine in New York. She completed an internship in the Department of Pediatrics at Stony Brook University Hospital and another in the department of Internal Medicine at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York. Dr. Kohlhepp then completed a Residency in the Department of Ophthalmology at Catholic Medical Center in Flushing, New York, and a Fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery at the University of Nebraska in Omaha. Dr. Kohlhepp is board certified in Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association and Pasco County Medical Society.
