Dena Naaman, OD, provides comprehensive optometric care to patients across the Pinellas County community. Her approach emphasizes the early detection, management, and prevention of ocular disease, while ensuring patients feel informed and comfortable with their care. Dr. Naaman is recognized for her attentive, compassionate approach and commitment to helping patients better understand and protect their vision.
Dr. Naaman earned her Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Science in vision science degrees from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in biology from The University of Tulsa. Her clinical training included externships at Eye Associates of Pinellas and the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, where she gained experience in ocular disease management and primary eye care. Following graduation, she completed an optometric residency at Georgia Eye Partners in Atlanta, receiving advanced training in surgical co-management and the treatment of complex eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and corneal disease.
Outside of work, Dr. Naaman enjoys traveling, walks outdoors and spending time at the beach.
