Dr. Anotonio Prado is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He helps patients with the medical and surgical management of cataracts and eye diseases.
Dr. Prado has practiced ophthalmology for more than 20 years and is known for his honest approach in the American and Spanish communities. He considers the patient’s best interest as a primary motivation, often taking a conservative approach rather than suggesting surgery to maximize financial reward.
Dr. Prado attended the University of South Florida for both undergraduate studies and medical school. He trained at the world-renowned and number-one-ranked Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami.
Dr. Prado enjoys sports and has qualified for National Championships in Triathlons and Duathlons (run/bike/run). Most recently, he has started CrossFit training and is currently ranked in the top 50 in the world for his age group.
