Phil Cuva, OD is a board-certified optometrist specializing in ocular disease and refractive surgery. He offers comprehensive medical eye exams and helps patients with glaucoma, allergies, dry eyes, pink eye and foreign body removal. Dr. Cuva focuses on each patient by presenting options and treatments best suited for their vision and lifestyle needs
Dr. Cuva is from Bradenton, FL and completed his undergraduate studies at Merrimack College. Dr. Cuva earned his Optometric degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA and completed his externship at the US Army Hospital in Vicenza, Italy and the Zuni Hospital in Zuni New Mexico. He is a current member of the Florida Optometric and Hillsborough Optometric Societies.
Dr. Cuva has completed 5 marathons including the New York City and Boston Marathons. He also finished the Florida Ironman.
