Dr. Dominic Prado has an impressive educational background and a dedication to the highest standards of patient care. His academic journey began at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, where he completed his undergraduate studies. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, KY. Following medical school, Dr. Prado returned to Wake Forest University School of Medicine to complete his residency in Ophthalmology.
Dr. Prado’s goal is to provide the highest quality, individualized care to each patient. He believes that while many individuals may share the same eye problem, each solution can be entirely different. Whether addressing cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, or glaucoma, Dr. Prado strives to deliver personalized care to every patient.
Beyond his professional life, Dr. Prado maintains a healthy lifestyle and enjoys fitness and outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, triathlons, and skiing. In his free time, he loves spending time with his family, playing the piano and guitar, and exploring new trails with his Labrador Retriever, Murphy.
