Dr. Rachel Marks is a residency-trained optometrist with extensive clinical experience in comprehensive eye care, ocular disease management, and contact lens fittings. She is passionate about helping patients enhance their vision and quality of life through meticulous care and education.
Dr. Marks provides routine and medical eye exams for patients of all ages and manages a wide range of ocular conditions. She also specializes in fitting contact lenses, including specialty and multifocal lenses, for patients with unique visual needs.
Before joining the Optics SOHO team in Tampa, Dr. Marks provided eye care across diverse clinical and hospital settings, collaborating closely with ophthalmologists and other healthcare providers to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. She is known for her empathetic approach and commitment to ensuring every patient feels comfortable and confident in their care plan.
Dr. Marks earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry and completed a residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at The Eye Institute of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Florida.
When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Marks enjoys spending time with family, exploring Tampa’s local food scene, and staying active outdoors.
