Welcome, Dr. Dena Naaman!

The North St. Pete team is pleased to welcome optometrist Dr. Dena Naaman to their team of eye care providers.

She provides comprehensive optometric care to patients across the Pinellas County community, with a focus on the early detection, management, and prevention of ocular disease. She is dedicated to helping patients maintain long-term eye health while ensuring they feel informed and comfortable throughout their care.

Her education includes a Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Science in Vision Science from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, minoring in Biology, from The University of Tulsa. Her clinical training included externships at Eye Associates of Pinellas and the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, followed by an optometric residency at Georgia Eye Partners in Atlanta, where she received advanced training in surgical co-management and the treatment of complex eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and corneal disease.

By combining advanced clinical training with an attentive, compassionate approach, Dr. Naaman is recognized for helping patients understand and protect their vision at every stage of care. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, outdoor walks, and spending time at the beach.
