Suffering from cloudy vision?

You may have cataracts. Removing them is a simple procedure that could improve your vision.

Take this 60-second quiz to find out if you would benefit from a cataract screening.

Quick Facts About Cataracts

If you’re experiencing cloudy or blurred vision, sensitivity to light, or difficulty seeing at night, you may have cataracts. Fortunately, it only takes one screening to detect cataracts and begin treatment.

How Do You Get Cataracts

Cataracts occur when the natural lens in your eye becomes clouded, leading to vision loss. They are a common condition that affects many people as they age. However, cataracts can also be caused by injury, certain medications, or underlying medical conditions.

How Does Cataract Surgery Work

Our cataract surgery is a highly effective and safe procedure with a quick recovery time. During the surgery, our doctors remove the cloudy lens and replace it with a clear, intraocular lens. This can dramatically improve your vision and help you see the world clearly again.

Multifocal Lens – Flexible Eyesight Enhancement

Multifocal lenses are intraocular replacement lenses that offer vision enhancement at multiple distances, allowing patients to see clearly and focus on objects at short, middle, and long-range. With multiple focal points along their surface, these lenses offer flexible performance in a wide range of environments, allowing many patients to see clearly without the need for glasses.

Light Adjustable Lenses – Your Vision. Improved.

Try new technology for cataracts and get flexibility with your lenses with LAL treatment. The Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) is a customizable intraocular lens that offers superior vision enhancement for cataract patients. After the lens is surgically implanted in the eye, doctors will adjust the focus of the photo-sensitive material through a series of in-office UV light treatments, matching the focal point of the lens to your unique vision needs for optimal enhancement. Offering the greatest degree of precision among intraocular lenses, the procedure allows patients to see clearly at multiple distances, decreasing the need for glasses. Cataract Surgery FAQs

No, cataract surgery is a painless procedure. While patients do not experience discomfort during surgery, the eye may itch for 2-3 days.
Cataract surgery is quick and effective. From the first incision to the end of the procedure is around 10-15 minutes.
After the initial surgery, doctors wait for one to two weeks for the first eye to heal before treating the other eye.
We recommend patients avoid driving for at least 24 hours after surgery. This is not related to vision but has to do with the sedatives used during the operation.
Patients typically recover their sight within 24 hours of their procedure. However, it may take 1 to 2 weeks to reach perfect clarity, with gradual improvement throughout the first month.
